U.S. Chamber of Commerce Endorses Ashley Hinson for U.S. Senate

Oct 11, 2026 | Press Release

Cedar Rapids, IA – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce endorsed Ashley Hinson for U.S. Senate.

“I’m grateful to be endorsed by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for my record of supporting Iowa small businesses, cutting taxes for working families, and investing in our rural communities,” said Ashley Hinson. “We have much more to do to make life more affordable for Iowa families. On my first day in the Senate, I will introduce legislation to make the Working Families Tax Cuts permanent, including no tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security; the expanded child tax credit; and tax relief for small businesses and family farms. Meanwhile, my liberal opponent, Josh Turek, wants to take this tax relief away and raise taxes on working Iowans – that’s wrong. I’ll work with anyone – Republican or Democrat – to lower costs and deliver relief for Iowa families, farmers, and small businesses.”

“Ashley Hinson has earned the U.S. Chamber’s endorsement for the United States Senate through her steadfast dedication to pro-growth policies and defense of the free enterprise system. Having served with Ashley in the House, I have seen firsthand that she is a strong voice for Iowa’s businesses and workers and an advocate for policies that encourage innovation, expand economic opportunity, and strengthen American competitiveness. We are proud to be in Cedar Rapids today supporting her campaign and recognizing her commitment to free enterprise,” said Rodney Davis, Head of Government Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
