Marion, IA – Nearly two weeks ago, Congresswoman Ashley Hinson accepted two debate invitations from Nexstar and Iowa PBS, both of which will be broadcast statewide. Those same invitations were extended to Josh Turek, yet he still has not confirmed his participation.

“Josh Turek is dodging debates because his record and his values are too liberal for Iowa,” said Congresswoman Ashley Hinson. “He supports raising taxes on working families, putting Iowa family farms out of business, and giving taxpayer-funded welfare benefits to illegal immigrants. The contrast between my bipartisan record of delivering results and his liberal voting record — when he actually showed up to work — will be clear on the debate stage.”
