Marion, IA – Congresswoman Ashley Hinson has formally accepted requests from Iowa PBS and Nexstar Media, the parent company of WHO TV, to participate in two statewide debates ahead of the November 3rd general election. Scheduling details to follow. 

“I look forward to debating Josh Turek and giving Iowans the opportunity to see the clear contrast in this election,” said Congresswoman Ashley Hinson. “Josh is a liberal who owes Iowans answers on why he missed more than half the votes in the legislature while collecting more than $20,000 in daily per-diem from taxpayers. What’s worse is, when he did decide to show up for work, Josh voted to let kids change their gender without parental consent and to give taxpayer-funded benefits to illegal immigrants. On the other hand, I have a bipartisan record of delivering for Iowa — expanding healthcare for our veterans, taking on Big health insurance and Big Pharma, and fighting to ban Members of Congress from trading stocks. The choice in this election will be clear on the debate stage.”
