Hinson will report raising over $950k and has nearly $1.8 Million on hand for her re-election
Marion, IA – Today, Ashley Hinson’s campaign announced that she will report raising over $950,000 in the first quarter of 2022. This is the fundraising record for an Iowa congressional race in Q1. Hinson’s fundraising continues to be fueled by grassroots support with an average donation of under $50 and over 6,000 new donors joining Team Hinson in Q1. Congresswoman Hinson gave the following statement on the announcement:
“I’m blown away by the financial support our campaign continues to receive. Iowans want common sense leadership in Washington and they know that won’t happen next year unless we win this race and take back the House. I’ll continue to stand strong against destructive policies while finding common ground to deliver for Iowans so that we can bring home a win in November.” – Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
Ashley Hinson flipped Iowa’s 1st District in 2020 and serves on the House Budget and Appropriations Committees. Hinson announced that she will be running for re-election to Iowa’s new 2nd Congressional District in 2022, and she continuously shattered Iowa off-year fundraising records. Last year, Hinson was also tapped to Co-Chair the NRCC’s Young Gun program for the midterm cycle as she provides strategic and financial assistance to top Republican Congressional candidate recruits across the country to help take back a GOP Majority in the House in 2022.
