Marion, IA – Yesterday, the Iowa Corn Growers Association endorsed Ashley Hinson for U.S. Senate pointing to her record of delivering results for Iowa corn farmers and securing House passage of year-round E15.

“I’m honored to earn the endorsement of the Iowa Corn Growers Association for my record of delivering results for our corn farmers,” said Ashley Hinson. “We worked together to pass year-round E15 through the House and open markets for Iowa corn. I will work with anyone – and also challenge anyone – including leadership in my own party, to do what’s best for family farms and Iowa agriculture.”

“Amid rising input costs and tight margins, Ashley Hinson was instrumental in securing one of the most meaningful policies for Iowa corn farmers in a decade. She worked in a bipartisan way, even bucking Republican leadership, to secure passage of year-round E15 to lower gas prices and increase demand for Iowa corn,” said Stu Swanson, a farmer from Wright County. “Ashley rolls up her sleeves and gets things done because she’s a problem solver at heart. She is an advocate for corn farmers, and she will be a strong voice for Iowa agriculture in the United States Senate.”
